Meeting Rules « Thread Started on Aug 6, 2009, 11:50pm »
These are the rules for when a meeting is in session. There is also a code system for when you break rules.
Club Rules!
1. Don’t talk when someone else is talking. It’s really not nice to have someone interrupt someone else when they are in the middle of talking. Especially if its one of the officers! It really ticks us off. This isn’t called Social Club, it’s called Anime Club.
2. Also please note the warning above. Keep your I-pods off and your phones on silent. We know around the school its hard to get service, but if you can get service please don’t make phone calls. Last year we had to kick a ton of people out for this and do not want to do it again.
3. Respect your officers, your peers, and pretty much everyone around you. Don’t be rude of disrespectful.
4. Please be respectful of Mr. Nelson, he doesn’t have to let us use his room. He is the nice teacher who actually offered his own room to us and we are truly grateful. Follow all of Mr. Nelson’s rules, using her room is not a right, but a privilege.
5. If you must eat during the meeting please, when done with your snack, put it right into the garbage can. We don’t want to have to pick it up, have Mr. Nelson pick it up, nor have the custodians pick it up. It’s very rude to leave trash where ever you feel like it. It’s not fun for the ones who have to pick it up.
6. Volume is an issue we have to face in this club. Last year we got in trouble once for someone screaming. Please keep your voices down and we won’t escort you out of the club. And it’s not fun having a different teacher come down and sit in on our club if we’re loud. It sucks the fun out of the club itself and its very annoying to have to talk like there’s a teacher around.
7. PLEASE DO NOT MOLEST PEOPLE! Keep your hands to yourself and do not sexually harrass others! We have to automatically kick you out of club if you do that. This hasn't been an issue before, but considering recent events we have to enforce this rule!
Just follow these rules and we shall have no problems this year with any of you. However if you violate the rules then you shall have to deal with the Anime Club Staff. We are all excited about this new year of Anime Club and hope you will all have fun.
